Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Pale to medium garnet ruby. Slightly transparent.

Toasty oak, bay leaf, rose potpourri, roasted meat. Ripe red cherry-red berry fruit. High acidity backbone. Strong salinity and emerging savoriness in midpalate. Finish with earthy and tobacco leaf note.

Medium plus body, High acidity, supple tannin and strong salinity.

For a cold vintage, the fruit is surprisingly ripe, giving nice weight and intensity to this wine. It has a slight compote-like character (as opposed to fresh and vibrant), but in a very charming way, giving an impression of precociously mature wine.
