New Zealand Trip; 2/10/2024-2/24/2024: Pale red color. Strong stem notes. Light weight. Subtly sweet attack with blueberry, spice, and soil followed by brambly green flavors and resoundingly dry tannins. This needs 5+ years but should have excellent potential. Its structure, weight, and flavors reminded me of fine Savigny-les-Beaune.

New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): Spicy profile, clean, red fruit, dusty, sweet spice notes. Palate showing the same profile, red cherry, high acidity, tight tannins, med body, smoky, med finish, austere for now. Can't see the reason behind its price tag
