Kern is an interesting counterpart to the Stirn. Another old-vine parcel of the Kupp vineyard - this one shows more yellow fruit and more autumnal ripeness. Ginger and grapefruit dominate, with peaches and zesty powerful finish. While technically a bit dryer than the Stirn - it shows itself riper and richer.

This is exactly what you want in an off dry German Riesling. So young but so delicious now with huge upside. Buy a bunch and stash some away.
