100% Chardonnay. A sophisticated wine, just beginning to unfurl. Restrained and mineral in feel, yet the nose was scented with melon and honeysuckle as well as the merest hint of oak. Stony and citric on the palate, and almost grapefruity towards the long finish. The terroir really shows through here.
