Bill's. Color a fresh pale yellow. Pure green apple chardonnay on the entry with, surprisingly, a lot of sweet cream butter on the finish. I liked it a lot.

Nice golden hue. Flavours of camomilla, camphre and mature pear. Mouth oily and souple, ending gently and light on shy caramel. A short search tells me that's a chardonnay. Hm, intersting. It seems that this etna soils gives more freshness to reds than whites. Or that white is just behind his peak.

Clear bright yellow. Lovely slightly oxidative style Chardonnay. Dry lemon, wet stone and caramel nose. Lovely dry lemon and green apple flavours and a dry light weight Chablis style finish.

Oenocosmos Wine Fair (Intercontinental Hotel): This is pure Chardonnay from 18yo vines, sourced from 4ha vineyards of 850-1000m altitude, density 12300 plants/ha, 40% of mass maceration in steel, 10 months in oak and cement, 25000 total bottle production The colour is rich deep straw. The nose shows medium intensity, ripe peach and citrus fruit with some floral notes as well. There are tropical fruits to be found here inside a thin oak frame and a few mineral and salty elements. The palate is rich, salty, mineral, clean and bright, with tropical fruit, citrus, lemon (fruit and peel), full body, medium to high acidity, medium to long finish. Outstanding quality, very well balanced, could pass for a Santorini.
