  Medium purple in color; blackberries, plums, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes like raspberries, boysenberries (I think), red pepper flakes, and clay pots with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it, but I do. Great for the price.

  Orange zest, and cherry yogurt on the nose. The palate is strong with cherries until mid-palate, then it mingles with dried, crushed geraniums, and rosemary tinged bergamot. The finish lingers long with a tingle of peppercorns. There is a slight meatiness to it, but that might be the aromas of dinner cooking interfering.
  The more it opens up, the more I like it. I am looking forward to another glass with spaghetti al ragù. I'll give it a 91 and revisit tomorrow.
  
  It diminished and lost clarity on day 2, but still quite good with the spice and herbal notes working their magic. Drops a point.

  91. An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character.
  
  Wife and I allowed the wine to breath for 3 days. Enjoyed with pork loin, roasted potatoes, and seared greens. Very smooth, well bodies wine with medium acidity which caused a bitter sweet taste with legs that linger in the glass. I'm matching James Suckling's rating however I'm not familiar with Malbec's, may rate differently if I try again in the future.
  
  Eye : Medium purple
  Nose : Plum, cherry, jam, pepper.
  Palate : Minerals , blackberry, grapefruit
  Finish : Minerals, grape, orange peel, salt wate
