Best bottle of this so far; very expressive with a delicate florality backed by good fruit and texture, finishing strongly and fully but with a touch of heat.

Didn't take too many notes on this. This is excellent wine: finely flavoured; gentle fruit; lightly mineral; balanced; rich finish. It has a burgundian quality. Very enjoyable for dinner outside last night with chicken and salad.

Pale/medium lemon; my first impression was that this tasted very similar to a top notch Muscadet I had this year (Luneau-Papin L d'Or 1996) with perhaps a bit more Chardonnay character. The nose varied as it warmed up: initially delicate peach and apricot with a distinct leesy character (dusty stones/minerality/whatever) through the palate (medium+ bodied and smooth); later as it warms the oak becomes more prominent with a creamy very light caramel (not sure this is really oak, it could just be the same lees character in the warmer wine). Good length, always fresh. Gorgeous!

Touch of oxidation about this one somewhat suppressing the fruit and character of the wine.

Tasting Group Dinner - Northern Rhone at Heidi's (Heidi's, Minneapolis): This bottle was consistent with my most recent experience. Floral nose. Rich, spicy tropical fruit flavors and well-integrated oak. Big, full mouthfeel.
