A very different wine from this time last year when I found the nose, fruit and texture so hedonistic and wonderful. This is now in a secondary phase, some cherry on the nose especially on opening, a bit of red fruit on the palate but mainly a savoury, forest floor, undergrowth and hint of mushroom wine. Fills out with an hour's air and maybe a bit more sweetness. Perhaps bottle variation but this seems much older than a year ago. Like it - especially with the air- but not special.
Drinkare sure, but its far from Grand Cru splendor. A nice whiff of what u would expect from a Burgundy, sousbois and raspberries. The structure is alright but a bit short on fruit and minerality to gain attension. A disturbing smokiness puts it on the substitutets bench
