  • Drank over 3 days. Acceptable but certainly nothing special. Some nice honeyed fruity flavors. The acidity and sweetness are a little out of balance and it's a bit thin. Too much alcohol. I knew this was their second and not from a great year, but I thought Climens would still make something decent. Would not buy again at $20 a split.

  • Nose of orange blossom, botrytis, a hint of spice, and some pear. Palate is a bit unbalanced with lots of alcohol showing. Has flavors of candied orange, pear, and minerals. A bit of botrytis on the palate. Nice barsac-style light wine that is enjoyable but not superb.

  • First Sauternes so no rating provided. Citrus nose, viscous almost syrupy on the palate, finish was not as good as expected - dominated by over-ripe fruit. Overall it was about what I expected - worth the $9 tariff from WineCommune.
