  Medium pale ruby red with purple rim. Fresh redcurrant, strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, spices, smoke, mild tobacco, and wet rocks. Medium to medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high tannin, medium structure, medium alcohol and long mineral finish. Fresh, lively, elegant and well-balanced.
  
  Wine is jovial and full of energy at this youthful phase. Very enjoyable now, and would cellar well for another 10 years. Wonderful, valued village wine. I would not wait and would drink them near term. Save your premier crus for long term cellaring.
