The bottle was degorged in 1999. Enough pressure when opened. Vibrant golden color with fresh bubbles. Opened at 11:50am, tasted and sealed. Decanted at 6:30pm, served at 7:20. What a perfect bottle. This year, I tasted Dom P3 1985, Oenotheque 1976(deg.2006), Oenotheque 1969(deg.2003), Reserve de l'Abbaye 1978, 1985, 1988 and many other P1 and P2 bottles of 90's and 00's. This is THE BEST CHAMPAGNE(not just Dom Perignon) I'VE EVER TASTED.

Colore ambrato, perlage quasi svanito, naso di crema pasticcera, agrumi, caffè, erbe fini, e poi esce il tipico biscotto plasmon, e si assesta su bellissime note di erbe fini. Sicuramente il + complesso. In bocca si nota ancora il perlage, con bellissima entrata, bocca che nasce fine poi prende corpo allargandosi molto. Ancora vivissimo, gran grassezza e acidità. In forma smagliante, grandissimo.
