Took a flier on this aged bottle of Pietracupa when I saw them on the shelf at Eataly wines. WAY passed its prime and severely oxidized - amber color and really oxidized on the nose and palate. Unfortunately down the drain.

nice and interesting italian white ... somewhat s. blanc in characteristic ... with tart apple and citrus on the nose ... but also something very different ... matte and savory, almost ... closest i could come was fresh baked bread, but that wasn't quite right ... palate is a bit more mundane ... but overall a very enjoyable and pleasurable wine ... substitute for s.blanc ...
