  • Straw yellow. Complex nose: chalk and smokey peat, some almond paste, then ripe apple and lemon. Palate: fresh fruit mixed with dusty smokiness. Very food friendly.

  • Fiano is one of Italy's greatest white wine grape varietals, and this Pietracupa version is a classic. Intensely acidic, vivid lemon/lime fruit, superb concentration, and richly textured. Highly enjoyable young and even better aged.

  • Straw yellow, with golden hues, clear.
Reductive at first, then clearly on the mineral side, with anise, a bit of pear. Precise and elegant.
On the palate it seems light at first, almost without weight on the midpalate, which is intensely mineral and has a nice acidity, which is what gives the sensation of lightness, because the wine does have body.. It holds well the matching with tasty food like risotto with porcini mushrooms or carbonara. Lovely.
