The wine is 15.8%, it has a big profile, relatively traditional with red fruit, savory tomato and vegetable, dried earth, bramble, and there is a slight feel of alcohol on the finish. There was great complexity here and re-affirmed my respect for Arrowood. Overall, the wine performed above my expectation.

Took to Valette. Decanted for 90 minutes before drinking. Big and brawny with a dark fruit profile. Still a bit rough on the finish. Improved a bit by the end of the meal. I had not realized that this was a 15.8% alc wine, which IMHO is just too high for a Cab to age well.

Very delicious. Still opaque purple with slight bricking at edge. Matches Lora's nail polish. Smells of turkey broth and rose bowl turf. Tastes wet. Tannins dry out the wetness.

Rich, dark and fruity. Needed time to open and soften. Opened at 5:00pm and drank the last taste at 8:00pm. It was still strong, but more balanced.

Drank with friends at the end of a long evening. Nice rich fruit, cassis, and oak. Mellow tannins. Full bodied. Enjoyed.
