Removed from cellar and stood upright for 2 days to let sediment settle if any , and to bring up to room temp cork 43mm wet through and extracted in one piece
Colour clear and bright pale garnet to pale tawny , clear edges with slight bricking for 34yo pretty good 15/15 Nose tertiary aromas from bottle aged Cabernet leather forest floor earth mushroom cedar tobacco meaty , with aeration can get faded red fruits - black current dried cranberry excellent balance and harmony on the nose 29/30 Palate Tertiary flavours followed on from the nose , a bit dried out , still lots of mouth puckering tannins and clean acid finish 15+ seconds 38/44 Overall Quality wine from Coonawarra , fabulous condition and nose , palate a bit thin 8/11
