Woodsmoke, rooty, earthy and baked cookies on the nose. Showing it's age. Full bodied good not great finish. It's all about the nose here. Classy wine. Drink now.

Very old world nose with horse hair, barnyard, roasted meat and dark fruit. What a nose if you like this sort of thing. Very smooth and integrated now. Medium to full bodies with a long finish. Notes of celery stalk, cedar and a salty minerals on the finish. This is a great and interesting wine. Not a blockbuster but it deliveres. Still has a few years but don't think it will improve. Drink now.

Dark, rich fruit coupled with barnyard and vanilla. Full-bodied and a great, long finish but could still benefit from a little more age in the bottle to soften the tannins even further. An excellent and enjoyable Ribera del Duero.

Importer tasting (@ RdG): Already quite mature. Sweet start. A lot of ripe forest fruits like cherries, blackberries and blueberries. Leather as well. Good oak and soft tannin. Long aftertaste. Excellent wine.
