This is showing beautifully for a 17 year old wine. Medium ruby color, no bricking, still fresh and vibrant like a 10 year old wine. Deep black plum and black cherry, balsam, tobacco, and Mexican chocolate tablets. poised. beautifully resolved tannins. Great length. Scored this for $45 at Benchmark and it's worth every penny and more.

My last of 6 PnP and drank with grilled beef tenderloin. All of my bottles have been delicious with concentrated fruit and licorice. Drinking at peak. In addition to being delicious it was quite reasonably priced.

This bottle required significant air time to pull together (opened for 6 hours, then vacuum sealed overnight). It was far better on day 2 when the fruit finally started to come out. Initially I thought there may be too much structure for the fruit but patience was rewarded.
Some bottle variation here, but of the 4 bottles I have consumed over the last year, all have been good to very good.

Dark garnet color. Nose of dark fruit, a little tobacco. The palate of this wine belies its cost, not only what you can find it for now, but especially what I paid for it years ago ($55). Sumptuous dark fruit, blueberry, tobacco, cola. There are still some beautiful tannins that suggest a few more years are available. Moderate finish.

(Jones Family The Sisters) Cassis, earth and smoky plum nose; characterful tart plum, currant palate with good acidity; medium-plus finish (92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc)

Little hot upon opening but mellowed out in the decanter.
