Next bottle is the best bottle of the lot by far. Minimal brett and very little sign of oxidation or heat damage. Red and black fruit in front of a plush, fleshy, meaty, tobacco-ie core with a good lick of acidity on the finish. Only the slightest tertiary notes to show the age. YUM!

Deep opaque garnet. A: touch of Brett but otherwise spice/pepper and game. F: dark moody red fruit, spice, ample structure and longish finish.
The end of my Purisima stash. This was yet another beauty, fully resolved and firing away on all cylinders. It does not hold up great into the second day, so plan to share! Does well with moderate air after pnp, so maybe a brief decant. These were all bought on auction and seemed to have been stored perfectly.

3 bottles so far from the same winebid lot... the last one not a brett bomb like the first two but definitely "BS&HS" as she puts: brett, sweat and hose sh_t. Decent fruit in the mix, a little tertiary... I thought it was ok, she thought it was worthy of pouring down the sink LOL... you can guess who ended up finishing the bottle.

Very much alive and kicking! Did not decant, but lasted 2 days in the bottle before falling apart. Peak may have been a couple of years ago though.

A little more brett than the other bottles. Not enough to totally ruin it, but was not really worth drinking.
