In perfect balance right now. Mix of blackberry and red fruit, but also that wonderful earthy, leathery silk vibe. A slightly more maintained acidity would've improved the score even more, but this was an absolute delight.

n very spicy, toasty - lots of oak t- toasty, fuller-bodied and sweeter than other Qupe syrahs My least favourite of the Qupe syrahs. Obviously Cal. oaky and ripe and not that subtle.

Santa Barbara County Tasting Trip - Day 2 (Tercero, Scott Cellars, Qupé/Verdad/Ethan, Sides Restuarant) (Los Olivos, CA): Los Olivos Tasting room. Tight nose but showing some pretty florals. On the palate, tobacco and dried herbs. Very dry. Nicely balanced.
