Darker golden colour. The sweet spice and citruses are providing a nice mixture with good balance. Not as jumpy as '2007 Dr. Loosen Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett feinherb' I had last night. Lacks may be some tension and finish, more relaxed in its approach. 7,5% Alc by vol, AP 23 08.

Age has toned this wine down and it perhaps is in a closed stage. I would wait a few years to see if it perks up. Purchased at the winery upon release and cold cellared. Tasting quite dry due to age and no petrol aromatics. Still a touch of spritz along with a counterbalancing sour touch on the finish.

Pale gold, coats the glass. Secondary aromas of flint and sandstone, lilac flower, and honey- reserved. Bright and opulent baked apricot flavors with sweet spice, white pepper and slate. Richly layered. Off dry to medium sweet countered with nervy acid. Silky depth on the finish. Very nice.

Lots of tree fruit aromas. Still definitely Spatlese. Absolutely, medium plus acid.
