Drank last nite with Asian food. Some peach, some petrol on the nose. Nothing special going on here--lime, peach, apricots. Decent acidity, stony slate, particularly on the back end. Acidic core. Drink up

I let this go too long. Slight oxidation, but still quite drinkable. The nose is muted, but plenty of flavor on the palate. Peach, anise, slate, and lemon.

Subtle nose, but explodes on the palate with peach, apple, orangecicle, lime and petrol, with a very long mineral fish. Medium body, with excellent balance, and a creamy texture that lingers on the teeth and palate. Exceptional right now, but will undoubtedly keep another 5 years or longer.

After two not-so-impressive bottles of this wine, this one was a gem. Drinking beautifully with layers of ripe peach, lime and red apple fruit accented by developing creamy notes and bright floral and mineral accents. Very polished and seamless on the palate with wonderful balance and length.

Leo's Blind Tasting Group - March '13 edition (Hearth, NYC): Drinking nicely now with the fruit still fresh and youthful but framed by some developing creaminess and savoury elements, but it's hard to really focus on this alongside the Schmitt-Wagner, which was absolutely stunning.
