Had a very different experience from the other tasting notes authors. Opened a bottle up with several friends and they all enjoyed this wine, as did I. Earthy, with nice spice and good fruit. Somewhat restrained, old world style. Very enjoyable. Would get more.

Cloudy, sour wine without anything positive to tell. Opened 2 bottles for a wine tasting to compare a rainy vintage with a normal one (2004) and this was the looser of the tasting. Pour down the sink. Both bottles were the same.

Nice bodied wine... spice, pepper. All was well... until the finish. Perhaps my novice palate isn't sophisticated enough for old world wines but this is the third or fourth French wine I've had that all have a finish reminiscent of a barnyard, moldy hay, and horse. These aren't characteristics I search out in a good wine. Up until the finish, it was very good but the finish kills it for me.

Insipid, bitey, with some fruit and a few notes of an aged Cotes-Du-Rhone. Not inspiring, but drinkable as a food wine.

Insipid, bitter, foul tasting. Cannot rate.
