  • Great CS of Chicilian origine. Dark garnet color. In the nose sweet fruitflavors, eucalyptus, spices, cocoa and oak. Berryfruit (red and black) on the palate, cherry, plums and spices like cloves and pepper. Notes of dark chocolat. The oak flavours are well integrated. Tannins are well presented.Soft and delicate taste.

  • Leaf Day - lots of ripe black fruit on the nose and palate along with some nice herbal notes (mint and eucalyptus). Smooth on the palate with some good tannic structure left and the balance is excellent. Medium length finish with the fruit and some spice continuing. Well done!!

  • Typical Chilean, worth waiting to see vast improvements for the price. Dark ruby-colored, nice berry, wood and tobacco bouquet. Short at the finish, but a nice wine.

  • Still worth going slow on your bottles. This wine will still be enjoyed for many years. Spices, blackberry, and hints of smoke, cedar and tobacco.

  • Ruby, medium (+) intensity, with a hint of garnet on the rim. The nose is clean and medium (+) to pronounced in intensity. The nose is moderately complex and developing (+), with aromas of black fruit, black pepper, green peppercorns, vanilla, cedar and leather. There's a pleasant herbal or vegetal component and an intriguing nuance of cured beef. The palate is dry, with plenty of sweet fruit left. The acidity and tannins are medium (+), with the tannins being surprisingly astringent despite the age. The alcohol is medium (+) and a bit hot despite being "only" 14.5%. This is a well balanced, medium (+) to full-bodied wine with medium (+) flavor intensity. It only falls short on the slightly astringent finish. It is clearly in its optimal drinking window, but I suspect it is closer to the beginning than the end of that window. It should continue to improve for a another year or two. I think this wine presents a great value. Paradoxically, it is too cheap for its own good because it is really an age-worthy Cab that should be cellared away, but is priced for early, casual consumption.
