  • At Gary's grand tasting...I keep hearing about this renaissance of red wines from Germany/Austria/Alsace. Spatburgunders - if you can find them - are suppossed to be execellent, the Oregon Pinots of 15+ years ago. I was excited to try it

    Not this one...astringent, minimal, dry fruit. Not sure if it was better at one point, but this is an 07 that appears to be dead and never really that good. If you have any expectation for a decent Pinot, don' bother
