  Still a remarkably good wine. Even at 20 years it still exhibits freshness and acidity. Smooth and oily. Only 9% alcohol.

  Golden in color. very floral with ginger, petrol, and a for lack of better term Middle Mosel fruit profile. Beautifully elegant and deep on the nose. Great acid and lift with mouthwatering freshness and lightness that really made this sing. In a very good place right now with a great balance of secondary notes while maintaining wonderful freshness. I am opening myself to flaming here, but I think this maker can sometimes lack a bit of soul, but makes very good wines. That said, maybe I have not given his bottles enough time, as this is singing. 94 pts and at peak for me.

  It has been ten years ago since I've had this wine last time. Beautiful golden colour. Classic Riesling (petrolium) nose. A mature, but yet youthful wine. Once again a reminder to put more German wines into the cellar.
