  Très mûr. Peut-être a-t-il légèrement passé son apogée. Très bon encore mais un peu lourdeau, nous a-t-il semblé. 88-87

  This wine was amazing!! Really rich on the palate and I thought I had kept it a little long in my cellar but drank beautifully!

  Blind tasted. Butterscoth, Brioche, lemon rind and chalk on the nose....the citrus presents more subtly than the oak, but the boquet is more-or-less appealing. On the palate the wine came to life. The balance between flesh and acidity was really well done, along with barrel work to call up a Mersault, but the ensemble was perhaps a bit too in-your-face for the old world. A palate of toast, white flower, grilled hazelnut, and lively citrus in addition with nice wet stone minerality really flattered the palate. Great minerality- as opposed to most new world offerings. Long finish. Really enjoyed this wine, and at 35 bones would buy it again. And again (91-92).

  13% d'alcool, 100% Chardonnay
  Œil : jaune-paille-doré, soutenu sans excès, viscosité moyenne à forte en parois
  Nez : projection d'intensité moyenne+, frais, crème fraîche, citron confit, vanille légère, miel de trèfle, amande verte, comme un soupçon salin, arômes floraux rappelant la pivoine et la lavande, élégant et très invitant
  Bouche : sec, ample+, acidité moyenne à rafraîchissante, attaque franche, texture satinée, persistance moyenne, rétro sur la crème anglaise, citronnée, l'amande et la vanille
  Conclusion : TRÈS belle prestation pour ce Village dont nous n'attendions pas tant, superbe évolution, toujours en style Nouveau-Monde mais le boisé nous a semblé plus fondu que la dernière fois (il y a 18 mois), lui donnant plus de fraîcheur et BEAUCOUP d'élégance. Superbe. Possiblement à son apogée. 90+

  Le vin est d'une belle couleur jaune dorée pâle. Le nez offre du fruit comme la pêche, l'abricot avec un peu de miel et de vanille. En bouche les même arômes sont présent avec un petit gras et une belle finale. Côté boisé perceptible mais non dominant bien agréable. J'ai bien aimé !
