A little barnyard on the nose. Rose petal, muted strawberry, sandlewood, very integrated. Seemingly a bit thin. Drank over 4 hours and it might have needed more time.

Medium to full colour for a burgundy. This has ripe raspberry and cherry fruit, with a slight sweetness, good balancing acidity, some weight and richness. This is currently quite fresh and lively: attractive drinking now, but should keep well and may still improve. Drink over the next 3 to 5 years.

Thinning at rim. Was good with food. Not a wow wine. More ekegant than viilages but not necessarily better. Should improve with 3-5 years.
