Black cherry aromas with some remaining oak spice as well as beginning earthy elements. Flavors are also mostly black cherry with some slightly overt new oak character. Good flavors, albeit rather simple.

Transparent light red color throughout with notes of potting soil, a touch of spice, and some red fruits on the nose. Light to medium body but still has good depth of flavor on the palate with crushed cherry flavors and the tiniest hint of toast towards the back end. Probably at it's peak right now but should stay there for a number of years.
