Nice expression of this vintage. The wine is rounding into perfect shape. Drinking well now but lots of life left.

This is a classic premier cru burgundy. Well-made and needing more time. To drink now open at least 1 hour ahead and decant.

Deep red with orange edge. Very slow drops.
Cedar wood, tobacco, red apple nose.
Red apple, cherry, some smoke and tobacco.
Quite a lot of secondary aromas, with some fruit remaining. Tannins are smoothed off completely, and have a discreet conversation with the restrained acidity. Quite subtle.
Edit: Really opened up in the glass, bringing out a lot of cherry and ripe red fruit. Updated score from 88 to 90, as this gave the wine an extra dimension.
