I was quite surprised by this last bottle of my 2007 Greenwood Ranch. It was loaded with nice deep red fruit. No sign of any significant decline. Still dark red with no very little sign of browning around the edges. Additionally, I quite often experience Petite Sirahs with an "empty" place at mid-palate. There was nothing missing in this wine. It was luscious. Wow!

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Eagle Brook CC): Double decanted off its sediment, recorked and served with dinner three+ hours later. Shows a bit of age. Raissiny fruit and spice elements with a bit of pepper in the finish. 86-87 pts.

Pnp. Good but think and uninteresting to me. Everyone else liked it so maybe I'm just a snob. It seemed thinner and weaker than I want from a PS. It was pleasant, just missing the density I was hoping for. Definitely ready and I didn't see any reason it would improve

Zachys Holiday Auction - Winter 2015 (Smith & Wollensky (48th & 3rd Ave)): These are just fun wines - always interesting to try a varietal that isn't normally on it's own straight and I don't think we'd ever had the Greenwood before. Easy drinking and interesting.
