  • Light golden yellow, fresh and expressive nose of ripe pear, peach, yellow fruits, mineral and toasty oak that still prominent but integrated well. Rich and robust entry, exhibits ripe pear, peach, vanilla oak and hints of mineral. Racy acidity and long finish.
Tasted blind and I was very impressed on the vintage and it tasted younger and fresher than what I expected. It is a testament to the ageability of most Margaret River Chardonnay and not just Leeuwin Estate Art series.

  • Drank this with my wine mates over a casual wine lunch today at New Ubin Seafood.

Pale yellow in colour with restrained notes of citrus, lemon and green apples on the nose.

On the palate the wine has cool weather characteristics; grapefruit with lime and limited acidity.

  • Pale straw color with a nose of acacia flowers and a hint of cedar. The palate is firm, with medium-bright acidity featuring grapefruit, pinapple core, green apple, and lime zest cruising on high altitude and lands on a long, mineral-tinged finish with hints of river stone and ginger. Great balance and composition. Drink now until 2019.

  • Medium minus lemon colour
Nose: youthful, medium plus intensity, lemon citrus, subtle peach, oak aromas, matchstick.
Palate: medium plus intensity, lemon citrus, stone fruits, oak, high acid, long length, medium body.
Concentrated, but elegant, citrus-dominated flavours with integrated French oak, long length and refreshingly high acidity. Still a young Chardonnay that offers freshness now but the acidity and concentration of fruit will see it cellar for another 7-10 years.

  • Bright, light, greeny yellow. Nose is harsh though, background hints of butter but in front it's a bit.....mean. Palate follows suit but is better; crisp apple, some wood which needs time, buttery backdound. Finish is a little warm.
