Couldn't be more different than the previous bottle. Rich but balanced, some evolution but still showing some freshness and minerality alonside spices. Sure, it is full body but quite easy to drink.

In some ways this is hard for me to evaluate as it's very different from the Champagnes I typically seek out. It's apple pie filling with an acidic backbone. It's all in balance and I very much enjoyed it. I doubt it gets better, but I'm not exactly confident.

Drunk during harvest at Prieure Roch with the team.
This bottle showed extremely oxidative and overwhelmingly rich. Felt like the dosage was 15g!

Drank at Winnie's 58th birthday with seafood. Wine showing age but very drinkable. Soft, bruised apples, sufficient acidity, slight RS.
