Very nice wine drank very well texture was silky firm but not over bearing tannins. Filled with dark fruit flavor and a nice oak came through. I found it a bit acidity at first but as it opened the acid became less pronounced medium to full

This is why, this is why, this why we buy, why we buy good Bordeaux. Satiny texture, rich merlot dominated fruit, full bodied with muscle and good food-friendly acidity. Like many Pomerols this is somewhat mono-chromatic, but at the table, who cares? By itself, a mouthful of perfectly balanced wine.

My Birthday Dinner (Imperial Treasure Cantonese Cuisuine, Great World City): First I thought it was Chateau Beauregard when my friend showed up this bottle. But when I look carefully it was Clos Beauregard which I never heard of but same appellation as Ch Beauregard - Pomerol. Found out later it was part of Jean-Michel Moueix's portfolio and blended with 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark colour, it has aromas of dark fruits, plum and oak. The palate packed with dense, sweet ripe fruits and oak. Quite a fruit forward style. Medium finish, firm and chewy tannins.
