  • Popped and poured. Tart peach aroma. Flavors of pear, stone fruit. Honeyed pear finish. This is subdued, perhaps because I'm a year or so too late. Also, while it's not flabby, it needs some more backbone to take it to the next level. That said, the wine is sound, good, and very enjoyable.

A bit sweeter that regualr riesling, but not overpowered.

  • Surprising nose, some petrol, lots of sweetness, low on fruit. Reminded me of a Mosel Riesling with it's large amounts of diesel for being so young. The palate carries a LOT of sweetness, the fruit here is peachy-pineapple. Low, low acidity, this really needed more of it. Had this been more balanced, a 90+ score would have been in order as this wine does many things right. I am excited to try more New York Rieslings now. After seeing the CT average price for this wine, this would be a buy for me as an accompaniment to desert.

  • Nice color. The nose shows lush aromas of orange blossom, apricot, peach, and citrus. This is light bodied on the palate with good concentration but a slight lack of class. A bit too sweet. The medium plus length finish features good acidity.
