(Pa@James, Albany) Light straw in glass. An almost-absent nose, with only the faintest hints of stone fruit and grass. Noticeably sweet, but balanced off beautifully with crisp acidity, with yet more green notes, soft tangerine/pomelo notes, showing some spritz and wet limestone. Gentle, yet concentrated, ending long with some white citrus pulp and elegant white flowers. No hints of age. Enjoyable on its own, well chilled, but also worked decently (perhaps not the best pairing) with our steamed Ile de Madeleine lobsters + bisque. Wonderful way to end 10 days together!

Exceedingly good. Silky and full bodied combined with beautiful long lasting acidity and a complexity of taste and aroma notes. This wine is the epitome of class wine in the fingerlakes. Would be an exceptional bargain as a German spatlese. Find his wine, from this year

Really a nice treat. Very much as described before but on the second day the fruit profile og green apple and white peaches were quite lively. While not a German Spatlese, in many ways it is very similar with the exception that Weimer uses almost no sulfur, so there is no petrol on the nose. Very long finish and nice mouthfeel and texture.

I'm really excited by this Finger Lakes Riesling. I imagine this would be amazing with fried chicken and fresh strawberry desserts.
