  This is quite a deep dark wine but it has plenty of perfume and nuance. You get a little pine needle sap and Indian spices on the nose along with blackberries and cherries. There’s also a little sweet cedar and it is full and plush in the mouth. It continues to breathe in the glass, intensifying from its heart. There great length of flavour and good energy with a nice balance between ripe fruits and the more savoury elements.
