Full brick color and slightly cloudy in the glass, few legs - slow to form; chocolate nose, cola and still somewhat tannic in mouth. Lemon/tammarind in mouth

After 3 hours, cherry cough syrup, tar, parsley, and black cherry nose. Brisk entry of red cherry/raspberry fruit with a little tar. Some harshness from the acidity and tannin on the finish. There's a noticable hole in the middle where there should be some earth or deeper fruit or something, but the finish is pleasant if a bit rustic. Overall, pretty pleasant for $20 -- a nice taste of nebbiolo at a reasonable weeknight price.

Brick red at the edges. Still a full mouthful of wine. Strong, typical, nebbiolo structure.
