Last bottle drunk with grilled beef tenderloin. Delicious mature cab. Still loads of dark fruit with beautiful integration and balance. At or near peak. Drink or hold.

1.5L - Took about an hour to open up. Quite rich, lots of dark fruit, excellent! Probably drinking in its prime but could go a while longer to see where it goes.

My second bottle of this delicious cab drank with grilled tenderloin. Beautifully integrated, concentrated fruit, licorice and leather. Drink or hold. WA Cabs are such bargains.

Lovely showing. Pretty much a pop and pour. Still very dark in colour, with impressive ripeness and intensity on the nose. Very dense, blackberry and black cherry, some smoke, cassis, nicely complex. More of the same on the palate, dense and ripe. Mouthfilling blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, soft tannins, still nice and juicy acidity with a long, complex currant and berry finish. Delicious with steak and ribs on July 4. Very excellent wine drinking very well.
Just as good the next day - this was a superb wine and easily the equal of a Quilceda creek. Wish I had bought more of the former and less of the latter....

From a Magnum. Very smooth and had a long finish. Dark fruits and soft tannins make this an easy wine to pair with just about anything.
