Dusty, parched bush with some dried herbs. Mulberry and currants. Slippery smooth through the middle, fine tannins on the finish, nicely balanced, with impressive length. Exactly how I want a Margaret River cabernet merlot to be. Huge bargain.

Very oaky. Fruit comes through well, rounded tannins, a bit high acid.

Australia Wine Trip; 9/20/2009-9/21/2009 (Margaret River): Just bottled for a week. The smells of new fresh oak barrels show. Lots of cool blueberry fruits. Might get better with time.
