Browning slightly, but mine was bought as a Cost Plus bin-end clearance and may be advanced. Acid prominent but not intrusive. After two days in the fridge the acid integrates and the rest is still going strong with some Burg-style sous bois added (Hermitaging in reverse?). Very Good.

This wine is much better than I expected. While it doesn't offer much complexity, it is pleasing drink at a good price. The nose shows some roasted meat and crushed blackberry. The palate is medium weight but has a texture I associate with Northern Rhones. The palate is fairly sweet with a nice touch of spice on the finish. There are not many tannins to note, but it has a nice pleasant finish. It paired very well with brisket.

Had it with a hungarian Pork Chop. Impressive dense red colour. Medium to weak bouquet and no powerful taste. Very dry finish. Definitely a wine for food. Drink now.

Very nice weight and balance - lots of smoke, meat and white pepper on the palate. Drinking just fine right now.
