A rather flat unexciting pinot. Earthy noes accompanied by some dried rose petal. Medium weight, low tannin and acidity. Short finish. Drink now, this is going down hill.
New World Blind Tasting Group $25+ (Bin 75): Cloudy rose core showing some age; funky nose, thinning out, vinegar, foxy, clay, green bean, strong clay component; tart funky red fruit on the palate, a bit muddled, showing higher acid; reminded me of some GA wines with that strong of a ferrous clay component; I also felt this bottle's best drinking stages were a year or two in the past; also not my style of Pinot as there was little definition.

Good showing paired with a slightly spicey rib-eye. Usually I am neither big on pinot nor on Australian wines - but this wine had good depth of fruit, medium long finish, nicely balanced acidity.

Much better than last bottle, but drink within the next 6-12 months.

Starting to fade in both color and flavor. Drink up!
