Delicious middle aged Barolo. Has developed a nice bottle sweetness and secondary notes, but with a substantial amount of remaining fruit and tannin. Could easily go another 10+ years.

Sampling 2004 Barolo, Part 1: Sous-bois and soft red fruit aromas. Delicious flavors of mature red fruits, autumn leaves with pleasant bottle sweetness and balsamic notes. This is mature and began to fade after just 20-30 minutes in the glass. Lovely, but drink up.

This wine just seemed done with maybe brett and secondary fermentation. My opinion might be in the minority though but I could not drink this.
