  Surprisingly soft - five years ago these were tannic beasts. Not now - this wine was soft and feminine with roses and cherries and a bit of crushed pine needles. Nice flavors, pleasant to drink.

  Tasted after 1.0 hour of decant. Beautiful balance of fruit and accidity, with cherry, berry, and leather leading the way. The acidity is delicate and pairs well with food, while the nose offers delightful aromas of rose, perfume, and truffle. The tannins are light and quite polished. On the third day after opening, this wine showed more fruit characters. Solid Barolo!

  Very stinky upon opening, but not only of animal, also cleaning products. Got some spearmint too. After 1h in decant the other elements joined in, and after 3 hrs the fruit was dominating the nose. Palatewise there were no surprise, tannin are ripe and integrated. Not high in etoh. Maybe lacking some detail on the fruit to be really special. Stored some for nxt day so we shall see. Day 2 and still alive, more liquorice. Drink or hold.
