Simply amazing, just like its lil 2012 brother, huge whiffs of crushed stones, berries and plums and “crushed rubies” as my wife would say. Just fantastic on the nose, quite an example of cab franc andquite similar to 2012 despite its more integrated and softening of tannin on the palate. Clearly the same wine , but an older vintage. Well done, Ren Marilyn & Heidi!

Popped and poured and consumed over 2 hours. Virtually opaque black-red color with hints of purple. Lovely frangrance of fresh tobacco, plums, blueberries, ASian spices, and damp earth. Nicely ripe and balanced on the palate but lacks the plush character I associate with a good California cab franc of this ripeness. Rather short finish. A very good wine but not first rate and, to my palate, not worth the asking price.

This was a great cab franc. It exuded elegance with a beautiful floral and cedar nose and satiny texture. Toward the red fruit end of the spectrum with some nice earthy notes. Drinking very nicely right now.

Big black cherry and mocha notes, almost Cab-like. Subtle earthy notes with a decent finish.
