Best after an hour of air. This was in remarkably good shape. Some bricking. Mushroomy nose. Still some sweet cola fruit and some lengthening acidity. No tannin to speak of. Plenty of hard to define secondary notes. Very evenly structured at this point. It was good with broiled miso glazed salmon. Interesting that after 20 years it is still a CA PN in style.

probably past it's peak but still really good. Good body for pinot--and good, dried fruit flavor/aroma still evident-- JWolf's description still accurate. [Drink] 'em if you've got 'em.

An excellent pinot, perfectly aged. I expect that this is the peak for this wine, as there were almost no tannins remaining.
