Quite good, not showing signs of excess age. Lots of tropical fruit that's characteristic of these wines. No rush to drink but it won't be getting much better.

Ripe stone fruit aromas with some butterscotch, roasted walnut, and some baking spice. Fruit remains fresh for the wine's age, slightly sweet on finish, but nicely supported by acidity on finish.

Not sure how to rate this wine, as it was oxidized more than a little. Nonetheless there was some pretty fruit and spice underneath the fino sherry tones. I will seek out this label.

98. A shockiing surprise. From the first moment, I was stunned with the richness, viscosity, subtle fruitiness w/ brown sugar, acid and overall balance. I thought that I was drinking an v. fine old spātlese. Over an hour's time, it began to thin out a bit, but was still v. good. When pouring the remainder the following night, it was equal to the first impression; then, again it gradually thinned out.

Deep golden color. Waited too long - nutty flavors, but most of the fruit was gone.
