  (Vougeraie Vougeot Clos Blanc de Vougeot) The nose is reminiscent of the 2001 with its faint touch of honey. The palate, likewise, has really good acidity and fine depth. Only the texture is a little disappointing vs the super 2001, but for all that, this is a very nice wine.

  (Domaine de la Vougeraie Vougeot 1er Cru Clos Blanc de Vougeot) Big soft lemony nose; strong attack, reminiscent of a white CdP, yielding to minerals and spice palate, lovely mouthfeel; long finish 92+ pts. (93% Chardonnay, 7% Pinot Gris and Blanc)
