Beautiful bouquet with apples. smoke and roasted nuts. On the palate minerals, brioche, juicy acidity, nicely dry and also a slight touch of pleasant sweetness. Good length.

Gang of 5 in Covid19 times; Champagne and sweet wines (@ RW): Overripe apples, brioche and rustic impressions in the bouquet. On the palate a full bodied and tasty bubble with a lot of ripe apples, medium acidity, some bitterness and a bit drying in the finish.

Firing on all cylinders! This is in its prime deinking window! Pronounced nose of the finest kind akin to such prestige cuvées as Belle Epoque, Grand Siecle, Winston Churchill and Dom Ruinart with its toasted, freshly ground coffee notes and newly baked brioche. It is very well balanced, body is filled out and is rich and full while the wine remains fresh and well balanced. What a treat!

I love this wine! It reminds me of some of the best Pol Roger's I have had. Fresh, intense and well balanced, it is still the great complexity that is the most remarkable trait of this wine! It sports autolytic notes of the finest kind, with a note of freshly ground coffee at the front, that I absolutely adore! (This is a vintage 2010 as revealed by the cork)

Beautiful wine! Displaying the Palmer signature notes of freshly ground coffee along with lighter, citrussy notes. Starting to show a little toffee development and has put on weight in the last three years. Highly recommended.
