At the start the wine is dusty and dry but inmouth this really improves.
Aromatically the wine starts with cranberry and some strawberry. On the younger the wine sings. Definetly dusty still but fruits of cranberry and even strawberry emerge as the sweetness is still present. The finish is also strong and delivers lingering flavors of dried fruits. Primary lingering notes are dried raisin, sweet dried prune and some chocalate.

Cran, strawberries, chocolate, sage (?) and a hint of black fruit with round tannins, the acid on this wine which is up, has caused it to age gracefully. We'll put together wine. I have noticed quite a bit of bottle variance, more than I would like, with peju wine from this era. But this one was lovely. I have a only a few bottles left from the case and it has plenty of years left.

The wine has aged gracefully and is drinking beautifully. Maybe a testament to the excellent vintage but I have always thought highly of the Peju Cab Frank. Great nose of dark fruit and well balanced with good acidity. Nice long finish with minerality and some dusty/chalky on the finish. Interesting wine and bold enough to complement our prime rib very well.
Very pleased with this wine. Good for at least a couple more years easily.

Friends opened this at their 11/2/18 Cab Franc tasting. It had a soft, subtle nose of raspberry, strawberry, bell pepper, sage, herb and spice aromas. The palate was light and dry with flavors that followed the nose.

Leather, cranberry, dust. Acid is still up and sharp but some of the red ripe fruit I remember has blown off the palate. Finish is mid+ length and dry. I'm not sure this wine will ever get there, but it's a solid effort.
