  Quite a surprise, especially after a very punky nose. Lots of sediment (a good sign) and stinky of brett on decant, but tastes pretty good. This is a very quirky place directly across the road from Mondavi, their stuff should be better. Anyhow, the '94 has held surprisingly well.

  My girlfriend had a bottle of this socked away for over a decade, and we opened it tonight. God, I love her. We were worried that there'd be storage issues, but aside from an extremely dry cork, there were no problems. This has a ruby color with inky dark parts. The nose is of wood-smoked meat and muted fruit - quite luscious. The taste is nicely balanced - tannins have mellowed, fruit is juicy and nicely preserved, structure is there. Glorious. This Cab Franc has aged very well. Much respect to Peju.
